Please bring uniform for parades, any Queen's Scout stuff you're working on, and warm clothes (coz we know their hall is always chilly!)

This Tuesday we will be meeting at 7.30pm at our hall for a funfilled night of trivia and games. Make sure you bring your thinking caps - and also uniform for the investiture of Justin, Nathan and Ellie!

This week we'll be meeting at the 28th Glen Eira hall 7.30-9.30pm.

Back to Scouts Week
This next week is our 'Back to Scouts' week, which basically involves going back to your scout troop and playing an active role in their program.
This means that 28th will be joining the scouts on Thursday 12th August from 7.30-9.30pm at 6 Wolsley street Moorabbin.
Start thinking of a fun warm up game that Venturers can run for the scouts at the beginning of the night. In addition, there will be 5-10 minutes later in the evening that we'll sit the scouts down and you guys tell them what you've been doing for the last few weeks at Venturers, what weekends away you've had and have got planned, and what's coming up in Venturers that you're looking forward to.
Please wear uniform and be prompt!

I can't tell you exactly what we're doing, otherwise it wouldn't be a surprise!

What to bring: Uniform for parade, warm clothes, pen and paper, and a newspaper (one you're happy to cut up!)
Cost: nil

Fantastic Race & Hall sleepover
This weekend we're helping out the Scouts with their 'Fantastic Race' (you guessed it, it's modelled on the TV show the Amazing Race).
Meet 8.30am Saturday @ the District hall in Foch st, Ormond.
From there we will be directed to a base from which we will be running activities for the scouts.
Whether you're taking part or not, you're welcome to later join us for our hall sleepover, from 6pm at the 28th Glen Eira hall - 6 Wolsley st, Moorabbin. We'll be going out for dinner locally (so bring some $$, or you're welcome to bring something to cook up for yourself in the hall kitchen), and later we'll be watching DVDs. Bring all the usual sleeping gear - mat, sleeping bag etc, and warm clothes as the hall can get pretty chilly!
Pick up will be from the hall 10am on Sunday.
